Pregnancy test confusion

So we trying to concive. This cycle I thought I was definitely pregnant. But I got bfn and then I got my period few days later. And then God knows why, I took a boots' '5 days early' test a week after my period . I accidentally got some urine on the test window. The thing is I got a positive. So I tested again the next day with an asda own brand and bfn. Could the bfp be because I got urine on the window, or is it worth testing again with a sensitive Test?

The bfp was not faint at all, but then again my period was like 6 days long.

It is possible to have a bleed resembling a period and still be pregnant.

No idea about getting wee in the window and what that would do - I would do another test in a day or two to put your mind at rest.

If you've had BFNs on all other tests and also had a period, it's very likely you're not pregnant. By getting urine on the window, you flood the test and invalidate it.

Boots tests are crap and pee on the window will almost certainly make itbgive a false reading.

Thank you 😊 I was worried I miscarried or had an etopic pregnancy. I'll test again just in case, but at least I'm less worried now xx have you had issues with them too? Xx
