Ovulation Date

Needing a wee bit of advice. I had positive OPK chart on Friday, but it looks like from my graph that I actually ovulated on Friday? Is it possible to ovulate same day as positive OPK? My positive OPK was on Friday night (on Friday morning it was very nearly positive - not quite). I have been using OvuSense this cycle so temperatures are very accurate. Just wondering if I’ve ovulated Friday or Saturday, I had a very dull cramp before going to sleep on Friday.

I'm the same as you, I had a strong positive OPK on the friday morning along with cramping, my evening test was positive but not as dark. I'm convinced after the cramping that I did ovulate on the Friday. It can be as soon as 12 hours after a positive OPK seemingly so if I had done a test during the night that could have been positive I suppose.

Yeah my positive was at 5pm on Friday night so perhaps I ovulated 12 hours after that at 5am Saturday morning and then that’s why my temperature shot up! Although I am not sure how temping actually works does your temp shoot right up immediately after the egg is released or does it take a while? It’s so complicated and exhausting ttc and trying to do everything right!

I don’t chart so can’t help with that bit.
But, I remember reading (and now can’t for the life of me find) something that said the older a woman is the shorter the time between surge and ovulation.
Can anyone shed any light? Have I got that totally wrong?!

So now I’m getting this with my ovusense chart. It’s my first month using it! I genuinely thought I had ovulated on Friday as had positive OPK and temp shift and now this 😭! Is there anyone out there with experience of ovusense and know about this?? This is my first month using. Thanks.
