Could this be implantation bleeding?

Hi everyone. Just hoping for some positive stories. My partner and I have been ttc for approximately 6mths. This month we had sex over the time I was ovulating. AF was due on Saturday. On Friday started having some bleeding light brown, but then got heavier and had two days of red bleeding and some clots. Obviously was very sad because exactly as normal for AF. However on Sunday night the bleeding just stopped. I have never had a two day period before, usually 5-7 days. Took a pregnancy test on wed (3 days after end of bleeding) and this was negative.

I know this was likely an unusual period or even a chemical pregnancy, especially as the pregnancy test was negative. However just wondering if it POSSIBLY could have been implantation bleeding. Any thoughts???

A pregnancy test will usually show positive around 48 hours after implantation as that's how long it takes for the hcg to rise enough.
It's so confusing and frustrating when your body throws curve balls like that. Hope you get answers and that BFP very soon.

Hi OP. It's my understanding that you wouldn't get clots with implantation bleeding, so I'm sorry but I think it's more likely to be an unusual period.
