Hi all I last had a normal period 26th Aug. About 3 weeks later 17th Sept I started brown spotting. Was moving house at the time so just got on with the move and had to lift stuff. The brown bleeding continued for about a week on and off and I started to feel nauseous at times and had a metallic taste in my mouth.
Then 26th Sept there was bright red blood when I went to toilet but quickly turned to brown spotting on and off for about a week until 5th Oct when I had bright red bleeding again and passed a clot which had what looked like a stringy cord out of the side. (Sorry if TMI) I then had bleeding and cramps for a week. A Morrison’s test confirmed 2 lines prior to the big bleeding and again afterwards although did look fainter afterwards.
Then on 26th Oct I had bright red bleeding which came and went in one day. Since then I have had no bleeding at all. Over the last few days I’ve had the metallic taste and nausea come and go. I previously only tested with Morrison’s pee on a stick tests but also recently bought cheap strip tests from an EBay seller. I’ve tested and they are negative. I am thinking my body just bit worn out and also if don’t get another proper period will test again but just needed to write things out really.
I am 35yrs and have 2 children already from a prev relationship and they are 14 and 12 now. My partner has a 5yr old. We are really grateful that we already do have a family however would like a child together to complete our family.
