No Sandra, despite the sicky feeling in morning (Cos of Common cold phlegm) dizzy spells or weight gain, I'm sure I'm not pregnant because I've currently been TTC for 17 months and still have my effing period! Anyone else sick of people immediately going to pregnancy as an excuse for normal illness? We've been trying for ages, I don't want to
Talk about it with Sandra, I just want normal ailments to be ignored or not under scrutiny. Sorry for the rant. We have to stop trying next month and the Sandra's of the world aren't helping

I here ya honey. All the time. 11 months in and it's getting boring. My Nan keeps saying "ooh your looking well" or "ooo your glowing"

I'm like, no nan I'm not, I'm pissed off and fed up with the bitch who keeps showing up month after month no matter how hard we try.

Xoxo

It’ll be a year for me next month and I get sick of people just generally asking when I’m having kids. I have been through all emotions from the ‘I don’t care’ attitude to hope to this month when AF arrived having a full on breakdown. I’ve booked to see doctors now though as I’d rather get things moving. Most frustrating time ever trying to conceive.

Oh, OP. I feel your pain. I seem to have a large number of “Sandra’s” in my life at the moment! My personal worst one at the moment is “You’ll be next!” With the knowing wink. Hmm - I think I’m especially sensitive about the comments now that I’ve “officially” been referred to the fertility consultant...

The number of times I’ve been tempted to say something very rude back have probably reached triple figures by now. Grrr.

Fingers crossed for you, Ladies Star

Yep. Someone looked at me the other day and said she got the feeling I was pregnant and looked like she didn't believe me and knew something I didn't when I said I wasn't. I wanted to scream at her "no I'm currently having the heaviest fucking period I've ever had while waiting for a scan because I'm having 'gynae issues' and can't get pregnant despite trying for bloody ages". And if one more person says "you not having another one?" Then looking at me like my response of "I can't possibly have any more sex" as me being unreasonable I might just have to punch them.

Feel your pain, just under two years here! It'll be our turn soon xxxx

Agggghhhhhhhhh I feel your pain. Yesterday I nearly told the dishwasher repair man the truth as he asked if we were going to have another one. I woosed out and just said 'maybe one day'.

Tisfortired · 21/11/2018 07:48

I feel you!

I have a 5 year old DS and we have been trying for another for 15 months. People keep saying to me ooo you better have another! Or, I think now would be a good time for you to have another!

Like I hadn't thought of that myself. I hate people.

kitkatsky · 21/11/2018 08:37

Thanks ladies. Sorry for the rant. I just wish people would think before they speak.

No you're not alone it's driving me mad! Anyone lighten the mood with some funny responses instead? I'm happy to over share and shock if needed to make people stop asking 😆
