Just a little moan post really, sorry if it upsets anyone because I know there are a lot of ladies that have unfortunately been trying for a lot longer than myself.

It's been 8/9 month since we have been TTC now and nothing... I'm in my early 20's, healthy, and partner is 29 and healthy but we've literally had no luck. It feels like we've tried everything and I just feel so disheartened that my body just doesn't seem to be working!

I'm currently about 20 days late, I normally have regular cycles but this time I've just missed my period. Tests are all BFN and I highly doubt I'm pregnant after this long.

Just really need some support and some tips if anyone who has been in the same position can share any!

Again I'm sorry for the moaning but I just didn't think it would be this hard, emotionally and physically 😞 x

Sorry to hear you're struggling OP. I don't think you need to feel bad that other people have had longer waits or harder journeys. I think TTC is so hard and when it takes longer than you'd expect you can't help feeling broken. Especially when you're young like you are.

Have you broached the possibility of a sperm count test to your partner? That's something you can do now at home without waiting for the doctor?

Also were you on hormonal birth control before you started TTC? And if you were, do you Know when or even 100% if your natural ovulatory cycles have started again?

@RMarieClaire thanks so much for replying. Yeah I think TTC is different for everyone, I just feel bad moaning when I see people on here who have been trying for years with no luck. But you're right, either way it's very hard!

DP has said he's open to a sperm count test but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I think he'd much prefer to do it at home so I'll Defo have to look into that!

Yeah I was in the cerezette pill (I think it was called that). My periods did come back after a month or so and I had been having mostly regular cycles since then, but I had wondered if it's possible that my body is still adjusting.

I let my doctor know what had been going on and she sent me for a scan which is next week to make sure my ovaries are okay, no cysts etc... so I guess we'll see how that goes!

Lots of friends are having babies at the minute which is especially hard as you want to be happy for them but you secretly feel so jealous!

Thanks so much for getting back to me it means a lot xx
