I will point out I find OPK's fiddly so I'm only half bothered about doing them. I worry maybe I ovulated before we started trying and I'm having symptoms of AF Blush

Kelly7113 · 26/11/2018 10:30

Constantlywingingit I guess the best you can do is just wait and test. That must be hard having such varied cycles. I'm quite lucky mine are usually every 28 days give or take a day. I'm 8 or 9 dpo today took a frer and bfn I'm not due for another 6 days though so it's still early. I'm going to superdrug today to get the cheap tests there 10 or 15 mlu I think. I'll just test every day now till bfp or till the witch shows I think poas is addictive lol no self controll in the last week for me 😂 x

Haha oh I'm the same. I've no patience, the worst bit is absolutely the not knowing. I say I will wait for the weekend but I can guarantee you I test on Wednesday if AF not reared her head Grin

Nikkinoodle84 · 26/11/2018 10:36

I struggled with opks, the surge can be as short as 12 hours. I work 12.5 hr days, I rarely remember to take them to work with me, and when I did, I'd test, put it in my pocket and then get so busy I'd forget about it for hours! They aren't for everyone. I decided as long as AF has gone, I'm just gonna have lots of sex, my OH is fully loving life right now! 😂 I'm 35 early next year so if nothing by then, I'll pay the Dr's a visit.
I'm off all this week so planning to enjoy that, try and switch off, and test before I go back to work.
All looking really good for so many of you!! Baby dust all round ladies!

Kelly7113 · 26/11/2018 21:41

Hi ladies how's it going? Anyone tested anymore? I'm feeling very strange tonight. Off some how and slightly nauseous too. How are your symptoms coming along? X

poopatroop · 26/11/2018 21:53

Kelly that sounds positive for you! Apart from feeling ill, that sucks 🙂 fx it's a good sign.

I'm not sure how I am! I felt destinctly not pregnant today and had no symptoms so I convinced myself I'd overthought everything and I'm not pregnant. But then, this evening I've had heartburn all evening and I never get heartburn. I don't think it's a traditional early pg symptom but I'll take it!

Still holding off until Wednesday before testing again - I've only got 1 frer left and I don't want to waste it. That said, I really do think I'm probably out this month and, the way my irregular cycles have been playing recently, this year 😑

Kelly7113 · 26/11/2018 22:35

Poopatroop heart burn is a good sign elevated progesterone causes slow in defection causing constipation and heartburn and gas. Sounds promising! Sending loads of luck xxx

Can I join you please? I’m 5DPO, cycle #1 for baby 1. Only managed to DTD twice last week, but once on the day Natural Cycles thinks I ovulated. Been having some weird stabby womb pains and now I’ve seen that could be a sign I’m mildly excited, but trying not to think too much about it as I know how unlikely it is to conceive first cycle and I’m geared up for it to take a while!

Going to do a First Response test on Friday as it’s my birthday this weekend and I want to check if I can have a glass of wine! Friday will be 9DPO and 3-4 days before my period is due as I have a 26 day cycle.

BuffaloCauliflower · 26/11/2018 22:53

Oh and I’ve just come down with a cold/throat thing, but DP had it last week so I think that’s coincidence.

holly343434 · 26/11/2018 23:00

Kelly your symptoms sound very promising, good luck my lovely! Xxx

My birthday is on Wednesday so going to test then! Xx

Kelly7113 · 26/11/2018 23:25

Holly343434 oh wouldn't it be amazing if you got your bfp on your birthday! Good luck!!!

Buffalocolliflower hello 😊 if you get a bfn Friday don't worry somenladiesndont get bfps untill after af due even with sensitive tests. Xx

Thanks Smile I know when my DM wa pregnant with me she didn’t know for about 3 months as she kept getting negative tests, so i know anything can happen. But that was 32 years ago so the tests were probably less sensitive then!

Kelly7113 · 27/11/2018 10:56

Took another cheap test not a sensitive one so not surprised bfn 😔 still not due on for 5 days though I'm only 9dpo today x anyone else tested? X

Nikkinoodle84 · 27/11/2018 11:17

I'm 10dpo, was trying to hold out til AF due next weds, but it's pay day tomorrow so I think I'm gonna pick up a first respondering test tomorrow. I only have cheap test strips so I know they won't pick it up yet. I'm trying hard to not obsess. Easier said than done 😂
I feel weird this morning, a little nauseous, boobs even more tender than they were, and I'm extra sensitive so I'm choosing to take it all as a positive thing.

Kelly7113 · 27/11/2018 13:52

I found how sensitive some tests are. You are free to correct if any wrong lol but after searching thats what I have found.

poopatroop · 27/11/2018 19:56

Omg ladies! I bought some cheap Co-Op tests this evening as I didn't want to waste another frer and I think I've got a faint line! I had to take the test apart as the plastic window was so cloudy and scratched, but I think there's a very very faint purple line! I tried taking a pic to share but it's really hard to photograph.

I'm going to fry a frer as soon as I can wee again as the Co-Op tests aren't that sensitive. Eeeek!

poopatroop · 27/11/2018 19:58

Line eyes needed!

Poopatroop I definitely see something! How long did itntakento show? How many dpo are you? Give it a few days and use cbd weeks indicator. Really hope it's a positive for you!!! Iv had a few faint lines but iv dismissed them as evap as there's no colour in mine yet. Xxx
