Really irregular cycles- what should I do?

Hoping for a bit of advice. I came off the combined pill in April and since then I have had v irregular cycles. Am currently on day 46 with no period. Have had another couple of 45 day cycles interspersed with 26 day cycles and one where I came off my period for a couple of days and then it fully started again!

Anyone know what is going on? I already have one child who I was very lucky to conceive first cycle so wasn't prepared for this second time round!

Is it worth going to see GP or too soon? I did a clear blue fertility monitor for a couple of months which seemed to think I was ovulating so could start that again if my period ever comes.

They say ttc for a year before seeing the gp. It's because 80% will conceive in about that time. It takes on average about 6 months, so you're doing fine!

Oh my god. Thought I'd best take a HPT despite the last 45 day cycle resulting in lots of wasted £ spent on BFN tests before period arrived. Only this time I am pregnant!

Oh f*ck I need to save some money....
