Ian it possible to only be 5 weeks with these dates

Hello I’m wondering if someone can give me some advise and tell me if it is possible.

My last period was the 2nd Oct
I did opks and it says I ovulated on the 20th Oct
I got my first positive pregnancy test on 30th Oct

When I add them dates in it says I’m 6 weeks 2 days but I went for an early scan today and it showed me to be 5 weeks I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks tomorrow so that means I was about 2 weeks pregnant when I found out I didn’t think that was possible.

Can I be only 5 weeks if I got my pregnancy test so early.

I had an early scan and it put me back 6 days, I'm goin to stick with the dates I believe to be true until I'm told otherwise at my official 12 week scan in two weeks which is the most accurate.
It's hard to be accurate when bean is so small

OP I think that sounds about right. Doctors go by LMP but really it's better to go from ovulation. And based on when you ovulated your scan sounds right. I ovulated on day 23 the month I got my bfp, which means my doctor says I'm 8 weeks today, where I think I'm 6+5 (and midwife agrees this is more likely). Have a verification scan at the weekend which I expect to confirm the latter.

You will have been 2 weeks from conception when you found out, but that translates to 4 weeks in pregnancy dating terms.

If you had a shorter cycle you'd be 6 weeks, but it looks like you ovulate late so 5 weeks sounds about right! Congratulations and hope it all goes well xx

Even tho I got my bfp at 10dpo

I got my BFP at 9 DPO. My apps placed me at 5-6 weeks but I hadn't been getting positives for the past two weeks so I knew that wasn't possible. I got a clear blue and that measured me at 3-4 weeks (1-2), and this was clarified by my scan. I ovulated three weeks late, despite what OPKs say. Scans are far more accurate.

Where if I was only 4 weeks last week it would have shown 2-3 my heads in a mess
