Hello ladies, me and DH have been trying to conceive for past 4 years.
I've had 4x blood tests, HSG X-ray and a swab. I've been given the all clear.
My husband had a sperm count of 90M per ml but with only 1% normal forms of sperm.
Me and DH have decided on 3 rounds of IUI instead of 1 round of IVF privately as NHS waiting list could be up to a years wait!
My question to those that have experienced IUI.
During my ovulation can DH produce his sample, this is then washed, I then go through IUI procedure instead of having to pay for the consultation etc they are adding to the headline costs?
I ask this because the 2 fertility clinics near us (South London) suggest each round could cost around £1500 for each IUI cycle when they quote £900 for each IUI round cost on the price list!
We are prepared to travel if you ladies have a recommendation of clinics outside of London.
