Should know better - Implantation ?

It's month 20 so I absolutely should know better but this is playing on my mind so wanted to ask.

Yesterday I had a small amount of pinky red CM when I wiped. Thought my period had arrived but nothing there at bed time or this morning. Tested this morning and it's BFN (of course).

I'm now wondering if it could have been implantation bleeding? Yesterday was CD 30 and my cycles are 32-35 normally. Not temping or using OPKs at the minute in an effort to "just relax" so unsure when I ovulated but based on EWCM I'd say I'm probably 10DPOish (so 9ish yesterday). Had some strange aching in my lower tummy but I could just be mad symptom spotting because of the spotting.

So - do we think it could be IB? If you had IB how long afterwards did you get BFP? I've never had so much as a squinter and am waiting for IVF for genetic reasons, so it would be a bloody miracle if this turns out to be a BFP and the pregnancy continues (50% risk of passing on fatal condition).

My IB with my first pregnancy sounded like this - CM with a pinky tinge that I assumed was my period starting. I fully expected it to turn into proper bleeding but it didn't. I didn't test until around a week later (because I was so fed up of BFNs by this point I was too scared to test) but you don't start to produce hcg until after implantation has happened, so I would imagine it would be at least 48 hours later that you could expect a BFP.

I'm going to sit on my hands tomorrow and try to wait until at least Wednesday before testing, on the assumption that my period will probably arrive before then.

I'm running to the loo in work every 5 minutes like a mad woman to check that it hasn't turned up already!
