Hi,
I could do with some advice. I’m due to have an X-ray in a weeks’ time which I only found out about v recently. Before I knew, I dtd 3-4 days before ovulation as we are loosely ttc. So dtd Wednesday, ovulated sat or sun. A test won’t show up by the time I’m due to have the X-ray but if I don’t have it and I have to start the referral procedure again. I’m just trying to work out how likely conception is- I’d never have tried this month if I knew about the hospital appt!
Thanks.

Blimey, nobody can know that if you don't!
When they ask "is there any chance you could be pregnant?", the only answer is "Yes".
I think you'll have to go with their advice. I don't know what the worst thing that can happen to a foetus if exposed to X-rays at an early stage of gestation, but I suspect they don't asks that question for no reason!
How can you even contemplate risking it?

They’ll ask you when you get there if there’s a chance you’re pregnant (if they don’t, just tell them) and they’ll deal with it. They will assess the risk based on the region they are x-raying, but they can provide a lead apron to protect your abdomen. There should be a phone number on the appointment letter for you to phone and ask in advance.
