Could I be pregnant or not?

Hi all.
I'm TTC my 1st, only on my 2nd cycle after coming off the contraceptive patch. My first cycle was long (35 days) but that's usual for me from before the patch/pill.
I'm now nearly a week late on day 41, and so far I've done about five tests all coming up BFN. I'm not really having any symptoms other than very very mild cramps. Had anyone had a similar experience and it turned out you were pregnant after all? I just don't know what's going on it's so confusing

You're coming off birth control. That's the most likely explanation. Your body isn't used to doing something and is learning to cycle itself.

Is this your 2nd cycle after coming off birth control? It could just be taking a while to settle down. Keep tracking your cycles. I would say if you were a week late a positive would show on a test by now but you could be. It took me 5 months to get pregnant after coming off the pill. Good luck.

Thank you for your replies. Yes I'm only in my 2nd cycle since coming off birth control. I think I'm just very optimistic hoping that I would be lucky! I guessed that because my first cycle seemed like my regular pattern that my body had gone back to normal quite quickly. Oh well

I had BFNs up to 12 days late, tested again this morning on day 19 and BFP! I was sure it was my cycle still adjusting after removing my coil in July. So you never know!

Thanks @GabbyGal you've given me hope! Congratulations! Did you have any symptoms at all? I think my boobs are bigger (sorry tmi) but it might be because I've put on a bit of weight

Thanks I’m still in shock! Only symptom is sore boobs and they feel a bit heavier, but even that has eased off a bit in the last few days. Otherwise no symptoms at all. Fingers crossed for you! xx

hi gabby gal im currently trying to conceive baby 3 but on my first baby i got negative pregnancy tests until i was 10 weeks along no symptoms at all apart from a little weight gain and sore boobs no period so i must of tried 50 pregnancy test lol then i tried a pound shop strip one morning and it was bfp !! when i had my first scan i was 13 weeks along! i had really irregular periods and some times would go months without one so that was of no help, it can happen also my second baby which was 5 years later i had bfn until i was 7 weeks along again no symptoms then just that foods started tasting weird good luck to you and i really hope it's your bfp xxx hugs x
