Since our baby was born three months ago dh and I have been using condoms as contraception until my periods return and I can go back on the pill.
But last night the condom split, eek.

I'm quite worried about this seeing as I haven't had a period since I gave birth 3 months ago anybody have any idea of my chances of falling pregnant?
Should I contact my Dr and go in for the Morning after pill? Can I even do that or is it too late now?
Can anyone advise/reassure me?

Think you have up to 72 hours for the morning after pill and you can get it froma pharmacy without prescription.

I don't think it's too late for the MAP. You could be fertile at the moment, and in theory could get pregnant. If you are breastfeeding exclusively you can still be fertile. I think if you're worried, the MAP might be a good idea.

Go to the pharmacist asap

Go to the chemist and buy emergency contraception (morning after pill) over the counter. Quicker and easier. It's not likely you will be pregnant, but you could be. It's not too late. You can go today. The sooner you take it, the more effective it is.

No knowledge of anyone personally but I seem to recall Jools Oliver (wife of Jamie) falling pregnant very quickly after giving birth the first time so it is not unheard of...!

Sorry, that wasn't very reassuring!

Thanks for your advice everyone. I nipped over to the chemist in the supermarket just after I'd read your messages earlier (I didn't know you could buy the morning after pill over the counter) but it was close I'd just missed it I'll go over tomorrow morning first thing I agree it will be quicker than trying to get a dr's appointment. Thanks again.
