@cupcakesandglitter it didn't read badly at all!! thank you hun 😘 x

cupcakesandglitter · 21/11/2018 22:00

@FlapJackered oh good 😊 yes mine do too actually, but because of the shitty tests they could've been getting darker all this time I wouldn't have known 😩 actually I think you may be right on the hydration front, usually I don't drink a fat lot but I have today and my pee for the second test was definitely more diluted 😂😂 on the plus side, DH is rushing home in an hour, he got the hint 😂 xx

Been busy all day, somehow missed four pages worth of reading.

@Delilah7 so happy for you!

@cupcakesandglitter I'm inclined to think you may have missed it? What do your temps say?

Anyone else around CD5?

cupcakesandglitter · 22/11/2018 05:10

@KatBeCool I'm not temping because they're all over the place - I'm gonna try another OPK around lunch and not drink too much water too xx

OP posts:
KatBeCool · 22/11/2018 05:12

@cupcakesandglitter did you used to temp orally?

cupcakesandglitter · 22/11/2018 05:13

@KatBeCool yeah I did, but I don't have a settled routine; some night I don't even get three hours sleep but also I'm always up at different times due to travelling etc, so I'm not sure if any other temping would work for me? X

KatBeCool · 22/11/2018 05:22

@cupcakesandglitter the monitor might work for you, although they're expensive. It's designed to get your lowest bbt, and even at least three hours of rest will get you a result. The reason I asked how you tempted was, even though it doesn't apply to you, I just read some study that measured bbt difference depending on how deep is the probe (they did vaginally and anally), and the temp difference was anywhere between 0.1 and 0.4 degrees with only 3cm difference in depth, and it wasn't even the deeper the hotter, it was all over the place, I'm guessing that's why my charts are so wicked.

GemmaJen · 22/11/2018 06:15

@cupcakesandglitter I'm using a temp monitor, can't give a hearty recommendation yet as I've not been using long. But my temps are definitely consistent, which is currently confusing as they're definitely doing something but I just don't know why Hmm

Anyone get this type of pattern? Could Af be on it's way? Cd1 was mc so I've no idea what to expect this month.

EltzBee · 22/11/2018 07:10

So entered my temp this morning and it's recalculated again so now is back to thinking I OVd day 17 and 7DPO today 🤣🙄

Big temp drop this morning to just below the cover line. I woke up earlier this morning to get to office so wondering if it's just that. Way too early for AF but paranoid now.

FivexFive · 22/11/2018 07:16

Hi all, just a quick update; did a 'pre test wipe' this morning and got a rusty streak on the loo roll :( Guessing AF will arrive properly today or tomorrow as predicted so didn't bother testing. Why waste a stick?! :(

Ah well, on the bright side it's holiday tomorrow then all things Christmassy :) Going to try and chill about ttc from now and just enjoy stuff. Then start afresh in Jan. I'll still be here though! Xx

sunshine1987 · 22/11/2018 08:05

@gemmajen your temps could be decreasing as your body is gearing up to ovulate? x

sunshine1987 · 22/11/2018 08:09

Sorry @fivexfive, hope you have a lovely relaxing break xx

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 08:18

@GemmaJen hopefully this is your AF after you’ve MC I know it’s awful but at the same time a huge relief to be able to start a fresh 🤞🏼

GemmaJen · 22/11/2018 08:47

Thanks @sunshine1987 and @DayDreamer1707 it could be either, I'm not good and waiting to see, I just want to know, lol. OPK still flashing high, so who knows.

@FivexFive have a good holiday. I can't believe December is just around the corner!

stormtrooperjulian · 22/11/2018 09:22

@cupcakesandglitter if temping doesn’t work for you have you tried tracking your resting heart rate? I don’t temp cos I wake up a lot in the night, but I track my resting heart rate and can see from that when I’m entering my fertile week and when I ovulate, there are definite patterns over my cycle.

@FivexFive sorry about af being on the way. Have a lovely holiday though 😊 I can’t wait for Christmassy things to start, looking forward to putting up my tree!

purplefig · 22/11/2018 09:32

@FivexFive sorry to hear that - enjoy your holiday!

@stormtrooperjulian I'm so excited for that too - for various reasons last year we weren't able to decorate so I am making up for it times a million this year. When is yours going up!?

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 09:56

@stormtrooperjulian I didn't know you could take your resting heart rate way as a way to see if you entering your fertile week, how does that work? x

stormtrooperjulian · 22/11/2018 10:20

@DayDreamer1707 I’ve attached a pic of my rhr for a full cycle. AF start days shown in red, ovulation day shown in green. I’ve noticed that for 5 days or so after AF starting my rhr continues to drop, then it begins to rise again as I head towards my fertile week, then after ovulation it spikes.

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 10:34

@stormtrooperjulian I may look into this further as it's another good idea. I have just started using OPKS for the first time but haven't seen anything yet really but I am only on CD9. I am guessing you take it first thing in the morning?

Also I can't wait for Christmas decorations as it's mine and the OH first Christmas in our house together xx

Idhrenniel · 22/11/2018 10:51

So I just did a test for reassurance- negative. Then I did another and it's negative too. I'm freaking out that I miscarried

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 11:13

@stormtrooperjulian Just realised I don't have a fitbit or anything, duh but it is black Friday tomorrow 🤔

@Idhrenniel sorry if you have already said but when did you get a positive etc? x

SullyWifey · 22/11/2018 11:14

@FivexFive sorry to hear that darling. Yes such good plan to try relaxing about it for a while. Have a great holiday xxx

@EltzBee could we dare get too optimistic and think that is an implantation dip?? 7DPO is the perfect time for that...??? Don't want to jinx it but just saying!!

I haven't temped at all since Sunday as Iv been so sick and not sleeping etc. Hoping I will be able to temp again tomorrow. Taken day off work today to try and kick this horrible thing!!

SophiePie · 22/11/2018 11:30

@Dadydreamer1707 Had first bfp 5 days late at around 12th November/15 DPO. Been test every now and then for reassurance. First was IC- showed negative at first then a very faint line but that was after maybe 5-10mins, second was a BFN from Clearblue

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 11:49

@SophiePie so you are 5 days late from AF? Have you had any bleeding? x

stormtrooperjulian · 22/11/2018 11:50

@DayDreamer1707 I wear my Fitbit overnight as I use it as an alarm then it works out my rhr when I open the app in the morning.

@purplefig I think my decs will go up over the second weekend in December (we’re away for the first weekend). When do you put yours up?

@SophiePie could you phone your GP and ask for a blood test to check what’s happening?
