Help! I don't know who the dad is.

Hello.

I hope this is the right place to be and that I don't get judgement for this as I am very scared!

I am pregnant, I am unsure how many weeks as I haven't had a scan yet.

My last period was 6th of October-9th.

I had sex with someone on the 18th October unprotected, and then again on the 27th and 28th, 27th with the same guy I slept with on the 18th and 28th with a different person.

I took a clear blue digital and it said I was 1-2 weeks which I think means 3-4.

Please can someone help me work out who is more likely to be the dad! The line on a test I did last week Tuesday the 6th October was almost invisible, then did one on the 9th that was more visible and also did the digital on the 9th. It's now the 15th and the line is very obvious and strong so surely that means it was the guy from the 18th October?!

It completely depends on when you ovulated in your cycle. It really could be either of the two without knowing when you ovulated. How long is your normal cycle?

I'm afraid with dates that close it's going to be impossible to tell without a DNA test.

I think you should inform both potential fathers they are one of two and that you would like a DNA test once the baby is born.

Mention it to the midwife when you see her - she might be able to figure it out, but given how close the dates are it might not be possible to be totally sure. It’s important to mention it - they will be professional about it, so don’t worry about being judged. It’s important they have all the facts. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

If your Clear Blue was on the 9th November and was 1-2 weeks, that means 1-2 weeks since conception. So you conceived from the sex on 27th/28th, so literally impossible to tell.

Your pregnancy is dated at 3-4 weeks because you are already considered 14 days pregnant at conception, but this doesn't mean that conception took place 3-4 weeks ago.

I'm afraid it will be a case of needing a DNA test when baby is born.

If you conceived on the 18th the first test would have been a strong positive, so unfortunately you have conceived on the 26/27/28 by the looks of it

Sorry but it’s literally impossible to know as the dates are so close, even your scan won’t help as they can be out by a week or so either side either. The only option is a DNA test.

Hi, is this your second thread? If not there’s a similar one with, admittedly some shitty judgements, but also a lot of support that might help you.

Probably the first guy but could be either.
