Is 9DPO too early to test with First Response?

Hi I’m VERY new to all of this and TTC. I know that I had sex on the day of my ovulation (9 days ago today) and for about a week I’ve been experiencing every symptom under the sun! Sickness, headaches, slight cramping on the left side etc.

Firstly, am I just symptom spotting and driving myself mad?? Is it too early to feel these things?

Secondly, I tested this morning (9dpo/6 days before AF) with a first response early response test and got a BFN - am I counted out of this month or is these still a chance?

Thank you! Grin

You could still be in, the frer 's are good but don't always pick up a pregnancy super early! I would give it a few more days and test again or if you can wait until your period date that will be the most accurate.

Good luck!! ❤️

Yeah I was going to wait until maybe Saturday/Sunday? Apparently implantation can occur between 6-12 days so perhaps I am just jumping the gun a bit! ❤️

It's so tempting though isn't it?! 😂 yeah give it a few more days, it will feel like a millennia but it you keep busy it will go super quick!

I'm due on Monday been having period symptoms for 4 days already but tests have been bfn's so I'm going to try and wait until next week too so you're not alone xx

I think if you wait till 11 days dpo you will get a clear line but will still be faint.

I've always had clear and accurate results (both positive and negative) by 9dpo on FRER.

Good luck!
