Hi all,

8dpo so early to test and also gave in and took it this evening so diluted urine and barely had enough to produce 5 seconds.
Brand is Sainsbury's own and it's a cross in left window for positive.
This came up within 2-3 minutes.

Can anyone see what I see?

I think congratulations might be in order OP!

It's very early and Sainsbury's home tests have a very bad reputation for these squinted lines when it's actually negative (talking from Personal experience and reading other peoples similar experience on MN) so although I hope it is good news , try not to get your hopes up yet. Give it a couple more days then test with a pink dye test (first response I've always found the most reliable early)

Thamks @dramalpaca and @cheesymashandbeans I'm already decorating the nursery Grin only kidding, I need to remain chill, but I have zero self control with things like this, I've heard some mixed reviews too so will retest in a couple of days X

I can see it but worried that its a sloghtly off centre line. I had this on a Tesco blue one when I was very (thankfully) unpregnant. Keep us posted

Ohjellybelly · 15/11/2018 07:41

Sainsbury's tests are awful for giving out these faint lines whether you're pregnant or not. I had two positives from Sainsbury's tests and was not pregnant.
Please buy another brand of test and try again tomorrow. These sainsburys ones should be removed from the shelves.

There is a line there 😀

Lozzy25 · 15/11/2018 07:43

I can see it 😊 but like everyone is saying Sainsbury's test can be a bit dodgy! I've used a Sainsbury's brand before and got what looked like a positive but I wasn't pregnant. If I was you I would get a FRER! Keeping my fingers crossed for you 😊

It's off centre and skinny which usually signifies evap. And to be honest a cheap test like this usually wouldn't be capable of giving a positive at 8dpo which is the very earliest the most sensitive test can give a positive even when you've implanted at the earliest possibly day (6dpo or so).
