Our daughter is 6 months old, she was a huge surprise. We tried off and on for about 11 months over 4 years and my husband was told as a teenager that he might be infertile.
My husband has an inherited condition from his father that affects his children. They can be normal, have the same condition as him which only affects fertility or they are incompatible with life and miscarry. His Mother had 3 miscarriages, 1 abortion, and 3 successful pregnancies over 8 years due to his Father's condition. She has no fertility problems herself.
I am 38 with bipolar disorder and suspected endometriosis.
So we've made the rather scary decision to start TTC now knowing full well there's a chance it could never happen or it could happen the first month and be fine.
I can't be the only one in this position? Surely there must be others in our situation for one reason or another???
