10dpo bfp and stressing

I got my bfp yesterday at 9dpo and did a first response test this morning with a much stronger line. But using my tracking app my af isn't due until Sunday, which I've estimated makes me around 3 and a half weeks. Now I'm stressing because I've read all over google that chemical pregnancies happen like 75% of the time. Can anybody tell me when I'll be safer from a chemical. And how likely they are to happen this far along?

There is no way to prevent a chemical and very very few ways to prevent miscarriage in general.

Your fear is completely normal. It is the reason early testing is a bad idea generally...

Stats by days pregnant...

I tested 3 days before af was due on 28 day cycle and got a bfp (so I was 3 weeks 4 days) Now have a 15 month old healthy boy so keep your hopes up Smile

Oh and I think I remember reading somewhere that after 5 weeks chances go down, then go down more again after 6 weeks etc etc. x

Your fear is normal but as PP said, so little you can do about it. I got my BFP on the Monday when I was due on on the friday. Congratulations and good luck!

The is everyone and congrats to all your successful pregnancies. I had a little bit if spotting yesterday and a tiny bit today I don't know whether it's implantation bleed or whether to worry.

I am totally aware this is really patronising - but either way, worrying will not help you and it won't change the outcome.

It could very easily be implantation bleeding. If it gets heavy and you are in excruciating pain, get to a and e.
