Is it too early to test?

I'm 9dpo roughly on a 34ish day cycle. The temptation to do a test tonight is getting me. I have a frer indoors, is it worth doing one tonight or should I hold out a bit longer? Anyone get a positive with a first response this early? Or should I stop being impatient and wait a few more days.

Definitely don't test at night before af is due. Waste of a test.

Redskyandrainbows67 · 13/11/2018 16:59

Oh I would definately test!
First response only though

I'm due on Sundayish. So might just do one tonight. I know when abouts I ovulated. My last ditch attempt before a lap later this month 😔

It's so hard isn't it!

I would at least try hold off until morning as not as diluted xx

physicskate · 13/11/2018 17:28

Wait until the morning to use your first wee. It'll be more concentrated and would have higher hcg levels. I got my positive at 10 dpo (equivalent after my ivf cycle).

This website gives the stats by brand for each dpo.

Good luck.

It's so hard waiting isn't it 🙈 I'm 8dpo today and I haven't got any tests in the house otherwise I lnow I'd have caved this morning lol. Think I have some arriving tomorrow so I'll start at 10dpo on Friday !

Sexnotgender · 14/11/2018 12:51

I got my BFP at 9/10 DPO.

London91 · 14/11/2018 13:14

@ReginaPhlange89 I know. I'm just far too impatient. I should wait till later. I always disappoint myself.

@Sexnotgender that gives me some hope!

My last baby I had a very faint line at 10dpo too, confirmed at 11dpo (and every other day for about 3 weeks 😂)

London91 · 14/11/2018 17:21

@ReginaPhlange89 Lol 😂 I'm scared if it is positive as I'll be testing everyday. It's going to cost me a bomb!

I tested at 8/9 dpo and got a faint positive and then every day for 10 days Blush. I’d had 3 previous early miscarriages though and took massive comfort in that line getting darker and appearing quicker each time.
Test! Test! Ah go on...

London91 · 14/11/2018 22:00

Okay so I did the frer came up negative. Done a tescos own brand one and although its faint this could possibly be a positive. Line eyes please. Pictures aren't great.

I can’t tell
Can you post the frer one?
Tesco will be much less sensitive than the frer one so it would be unusual to get a positive on that and a negative on the frer

London91 · 15/11/2018 16:54

The one from yesterday was stark white. But...i have a very faint but definitely there second line on another frer today. In shock. Now to tell dp tonight. 😊

Weirdly the tescos one picked it up before frer yesterday.
