Could I be?

I’m confused.... we did ‘the deed’ 3 days after my fertile window and now I am 2 days late. My app tells me on that day I had a 2.6% chance. Could I be pregnant? I got that awful sick bug at the start of the month for a couple days - could that make me late? I’m usually like clock work with my app as I log my cycle regularly.

We had agreed to try following that date so it’s fine but I’m just a bit dumbstruck ... any thoughts out there x

Any change at all can make you ovulate late, which would extend your cycle and therefor making you 'late'. The time between ov and the start of af is pretty static for each individual.

So going by my calendar I was ill at the exact time I should have been ovulating so going by your theory i COULD have been delayed and we could have inadvertently hit peak time this is typically our luck!

Af is aunt flow. Yes, it's possible (but not definitive by any stretch) that you ovulated late.

Apps aren't hooked into your body so are just guessing based on your average cycle.

Well I took one (well, a few really) and I am in fact pregnant! So the answer to my question is YES being ill can and does push back ovulation! 😮
