Anyone else got one? Is it bad for TTC? It isn't always 21, sometimes it is 23 or 24 but never more than that and much more usually on the shorter end. I'm not TTC right now but I'm 30 and am keen to get everything in good working order (as far as possible) now while I can before I am TTC in a year or two. I have been off hormonal contraception for a year having been on it more or less non stop since 17. Grateful for your advice and experience, especially those who have conceived on a very short cycle!

It really depends when I’m your cycle you ovulate - I don’t think it’s the length of your cycle per se that matters but the length of your luteal phase (the time between ovulating and your period starting). If your LP is short this can be an issue apparently.

My cycle is fairly short, average 26 days with a 9 day LP. I was worried about this but have conceived twice

Are you tracking ovulation?

Thanks @MonkeyToucher - I have tried in the past but I don't sleep well and am bad at remembering to take my temperature first thing. I'm currently on Day 1 of my cycle so I'm going to try and see if I can catch it (if I am ovulating at all) this month using temp and tracking the mucus as well as kits. My periods are also very light.

I'd love to hear stories of anyone else with a very short cycle (around 21 days) who has managed to conceive?
