Symptom spotting...

So we're on cycle 3 ttc #1! Here's the picture so far (because I feel 'different' this month)... What do you think? My biggest thing is most recently the feeling like AF has arrived & it being creamy CM...

CD1 to 6 - AF
CD13 - Positive OPK evening; wasn't able to dtd
CD14 - Positive OPK (stronger) morning; dtd at night
CD15 - Negative OPK morning; dtd twice. Some twinges of pain during day, right-hand side.
CD16 - Brief episode of mild nausea (late afternoon). EWCM?! Headache at night. Bloating/wind before bed.
CD17 - AF-like aching morning & lunchtime. Felt 'off' most of the day. Brief episode of mild nausea again. EWCM?! Lethargic, irritable.
CD18 - EWCM?! Woke up with sore throat; subsided quickly. Stomach/lower back ache. Absolutely awful day; feelings of anxiety, irritability and emotion on another level... cried in the car on the way home from work! Weird pulling sensation in the evening & stomach ache.
CD19 - Stomach ache/gurgles. Feel like I was overly sensitive to smell today? Mood tons better than yesterday but still not 100%.
CD20 - Bloating, stomach pains/gurgling. EWCM?! Felt like AF had arrived early so rushed to the toilet a few times but CM instead.
CD21 - Weird shooting pains in stomach during fmu. Gurgling stomach. smu there was very very small amount of brown when I wiped; like I could have easily missed it! Stomach gurgles, bloating, had that 'gushing' (sorry!) feeling again but each time I went to the toilet it was creamy CM; some with a very faint tinge of pinky/brown. Dtd.
CD22 (TODAY) - Gushing feeling again, more creamy CM and some with a very faint tinge of pinky/brown. Did a cheapy test at about 3:30pm but negative.

AF could be due between 2 - 7 days (first cycle was 29 days, second 24).

I knowwwww today was too early to test but I just had an urge! Grrr x

I am doing this too, like a neurotic fool.

But from what I hear, symptom spotting is just something we do to drive ourselves crazy. It is possible to have some unique sensations during and just after implantation, but before that it is all in our heads. Because we are not yet pregnant. Our body does the exact same thing it would do if the egg had not been fertilised. And then there is the confirmation bias: women remember experiencing a certain feeling before getting pregnant, but don't remember all the other times they felt that way without being pregnant.

While it is possible for implantation to occur anywhere from six – 12 days past ovulation (DPO), the vast majority of the time implantation occurs between eight – 10 DPO. Even if you are going to get pregnant this cycle before implantation occurs, you are not pregnant yet, and no symptoms that you experience have any significance for your chances of being pregnant.

You are on schedule for some implantation bleeding though, so your pink discharge could be a real sign! But don't fall for all the other stuff.
