Irregular periods confusing me

Hello, I came off the pill in June. I had 28day cycles lasting 5 days for 3 months as I always have. But the last 3 months I’ve been coming on 11th of the month, making my cycle 31 or 32 days. I’m confused why they would randomly change & why it’s always the 11th of the month rather than being a proper cycle? Is this normal? It’s hard to track. Thank you

As far as I know, this is barely irregular. Only when your cycles differ more than six days in length can you consider it so. Also, it can take up to a year for your cycles to stabilise after coming off birth control.

31 and 32 days are totally proper cycles - anything between 25 and 35 days is normal, and anything between 28 and 33 is ideal (purely when looking at length, there are other factors that determine fertility of course). So you are totally and utterly fine.

If you want to track ovulation, you can use OPKs. It doesn't really matter if your cycle is a couple days longer or shorter every month when using those. You can use your average cycle length to determine when to start testing.

My cycles are more irregular and longer than yours, and I can still track them fairly well.
