no, i think the woman needs to be pampered, ran baths, presents, breakfast in bed, basically have a slave of a husband and he needs to be left alone, lots of research to back this up i am sure

my dh also believes his swim faster with a more frequent stress free release... hmmm
I am with FF on this, it is the holistic approach to the environment the sperm swim into that needs to be pampered not his KNOB end!

I think there is some evidence men should not 'save up' their sperm for BDing, because that way you get older, staler sperm. Apparently a daily ejaculation keeps things fresh and stimulates further prouction. Of course, it doesn't follow that you need to do the honours if you've got better things to do . No reason why he can't bring breakfast in bed, run baths, wash up, buy flowers and then 'freshen himself up' while you get on with the onerous business of keeping yourself rested, stress-free and in the mood for (productive) love

Different thing but when you're having 'normal', whatever that is, fertility treatment, the man is supposed to abstain for at least a few days before, presumably to up the count. But, I think like the others say the more the better tbh but I wouldn't restrict it to a handshake though!

Well of course, your dh is going to say that, isn't he? - most men would if they could get away with it...
