Is this a false positive? (Sainsbury’s Pregnancy Tests)

Hi everyone. I’m really struggling at the moment and trying for a baby is so exhausting and hard on my mental health getting my hopes up, so I really wondered if anyone has a second opinion.

I’ve bought a few tests from Sainsbury’s, the blue ink cross tests, and they’ve come up as negative. I recently did one a week ago and there was a tiny faint thin line. I started getting really excited, so I’ve now waited a few days and tried the second one. It definitely looks like a positive.

So I used my spare clear blue I was saving and it says not pregnant?!

Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience as it’s hard!! Thanks guys x

When is AF due? Can you get a pink dye FRER?

Wenttoseainasieve · 10/11/2018 19:44

Definitely get a FRER. I've had false positives with Sainsbury's tests, but that's not to say that yours isn't a true positive.

This is the link I've made to my photo of my test: ibb.co/crJ2yV

Looks like my Sainsbury's positives. I have used them for years and in four pregnancies and various other testing times I have only ever had a cross when pregnant.

Congratulations!

I had the same thing. A positive line test and a negative clear blue. He's 3 now!

I reckon it looks like you are. When can you do another test?
