Me! I'm at the end of cycle 11 ttc #1. 11dpo and due Sunday. Trying to stay positive but it's so hard! Fingers crossed that 11 is lucky for us both xx

Fingers crossed for you. We are on cycle 15 about 3dpo. Gets very hard doesn’t it?! Had a laparoscopy in the summer and was trying clomid this cycle so fingers crossed!

GoodStuffAnnie · 09/11/2018 16:59

It’s tough. Took me 15 months to conceive dc1. Hang in there. Often there is no reason it’s just life.

SullyWifey · 09/11/2018 17:19

@LondonKez oh it's so hard isn't it! But, fingers crossed it is the lucky one!!! Please keep me updated. Wishing you all the baby dust in the world xx

@mouse1234567 how did your lap go?? I have a gyno appointment on the 21st and I'm hoping they suggest it as I have "suspected" endometriosis. Have everything crossed it has worked this cycle!!

@GoodStuffAnnie Thanks for sharing lovely, glad you got your dc1 in the end! your so right it's just life and it's so common for it to take longer, we just hardly hear of the struggle stories!

Urgh Just every cycle seems so bloody long haha. Good luck ladies keep me updated with how you go!! DH has been away this week and coming back just in time to give it another go for this month! Using pre-seed for first time this month so here's hoping it's as magical as they all claim!

Xx

@SullyWifey. The lap was ok thanks -had suspected too-with heavy painful periods and some stabbing pains during some intercourse. Plus they spotted an endometrioma on ultrasound. Was quite scared as never had general anaesthetic-but they were lovely and it is def worth doing. Took me one week to improve and two weeks to feel totally better. Good luck. Push for one if you can. I think the most knowledge you can get and a plan makes you feel better. I think I feel a bit better now I am with the fertility clinic and have been diagnosed and have a treatment pathway. I also have mild PCO hence the clomid and we tried IUI this cycle. Next cycle we are upping the dose of clomid to try to stimulate more eggs so if I get my period -then at least I have next cycle to focus on!

SullyWifey · 09/11/2018 17:51

@mouse1234567 wow you haven't had an easy ride of it have you! Glad to hear you are feeling a little better now you have a plan. I think that's same with me, when I know more I'll start feeling more in control I guess, at the moment I just feel in limbo not knowing whether everything is working ok.

I'll push for the lap as much as they will allow!!

Think I'm out and onto cycle 12 💔 I was pretty sure I ovulated a day earlier and if this is AF about to start, then I was right. It doesn't get any easier, does it?

We were going to wait until Jan to start the conversation with the doctors, but if it takes a while to get things moving, are we better off starting now?

SullyWifey · 10/11/2018 10:21

@LondonKez ☹️ oh sorry darling. It's so rubbish, but try and do something nice today to keep positive.
Yeah it doesn't hurt to go doctors now, they can start a few tests already I'm sure.

DH had semen analysis done couple weeks ago, we just waiting for results. I'm being referred to the gyno as I have suspected endometriosis ☹️ and depending on how that goes will push for fertility clinic after that xxx

I conceived #1 on 11th cycle so fingers crossed for you!

mouse1234567 · 10/11/2018 11:06

@LondonKez I think go to the docs-you will feel better having got onto it and if , like me they find fertility isssues then you need to get treated. I’m not a advocate of lying generally but maybe exaggerate how long you have been trying. My doctors a year was fine but others is two years. I always suspected something went quite right and my gut was right. I’m so glad I didn’t wait as I really needed the laparoscopy. Good luck!
