Smear after squinter...?

I did a HPT this morning (see picture) - can see something but unsure if it's an evap, I have a smear booked for this afternoon - should I still go!? Unsure if it's safe or not but after a MMC in May I'm super paranoid about everything!

I can see a line! I'd ring up and double check x

Lamaitresse · 09/11/2018 08:20

That’s not a squinter, and I definitely wouldn’t risk it. Think it’s a good idea to ring them & check, although I think they’ll say it’s fine.

Lamaitresse · 09/11/2018 08:21

PS tentative congratulations!

Yakadee · 09/11/2018 08:28

I can see something too x

Pinkstars2501 · 09/11/2018 09:22

I see that!

Hullabaloo31 · 09/11/2018 09:25

My surgery always say not to go pregnant, they just schedule you in for after baby.

TokyoSushi · 09/11/2018 09:27

I wouldn't go either, that looks positive to me but if it turns out not to be then you can always go in a few weeks.

cindersrella · 09/11/2018 09:49

That's a definite line!

BITCAT · 09/11/2018 09:52

Yep looks like a line to me. I defo would cancel and see what happens..can always reschedule.

Lymphy · 09/11/2018 10:44

Justincase87 · 09/11/2018 12:42

Thanks all, not expecting this one to stick if it is a bfp, but we shall see!

In case anyone else wants to know - I went to the appointment and was told absolutely not to get a smear, had a flu jab so I'm not wasting the appointment time! Came home, did a first response, clearly positive, argh!

Congratulations 🎊

MushroomMushroom · 09/11/2018 23:15

Please do call your surgery and check if they can do the smear if you are pregnant. Two years ago I was diagnosed with cervical cancer after having completely normal smears since I started going. Catching it early saves your life. Please don't put it off and if they can't do it please go after your baby arrives (can you tell I'm on a mission to make sure I spread the word where I can!)

Ps congratulations!!!!
