So I think I'm in the tww, had a positive OPK on Monday afternoon and negative since so think I may be 1 or 2 dpo

Not sure we've done enough this month so will be surprised if it does happen .

Anyone want to join me in the wait?

I’m not holding out much hope this month as we only managed to DTD once 🤦‍♀️.
Congratulations to all with BFP’s! Hopefully this is a lucky thread x

90mammasophie · 18/11/2018 21:06

Only just joined mums net. Sorry if I’m not doing this post right.
3rd month TTC and finding the 2ww unbearable. Goes on and on, leaves me highly stressed and on edge and close to tears. I need to calm down. But finding the wait so difficult. It didn’t happen this month for us, period due tomorrow, tested today and negative. Don’t know if I can do another month of this, feel like I’m losing my mind.

ronniemipperton · 18/11/2018 21:19

@90mammasophie welcome! And you definitely did the post right 🙂

Not much I can say that’s going to help I’m afraid... I’ve been ttc a couple of years (one bfp but ended in mmc) and my only advice is to line up as much as possible for the tww to distract yourself - nights out, have friends for dinner etc. My first six months of ttc I spent being totally virtuous and not going out/drinking etc - things got a bit easier to handle after I decided to stop putting my life on hold.

Fingers crossed you won’t have to go through another tww though!

showmethegin · 18/11/2018 22:21

@90mammasophie I know how you feel. When af arrives though rather than focusing on the idea that month is a right off I think right, further ahead than we though we were, will be ovulating sooner now! Stupid but makes me feel slightly less depressed about it!

Mseddy · 18/11/2018 22:55

Another negative early response this morning at 11dpo so I'm out. I've just found out via FB that one of my best friends is pregnant (we've drifted apart the last 6 months or so), and it's totally floored Me! TTC is shit!! Why can't it be easy? I know this friend of mine still had a coil in 4 weeks prior to when she will have conceived so she's literally fallen pregnant at the drop of a hat and here's me 6 months into to with my hopes of falling pregnant naturally dashed more and more each month (we likely have fertility issues due to previous chemo but are trying normally for a year because I want to be healthier before IVF and because we want to try to experience the normal part of TTC). Basically I feel like absolute shite right now :(

MrsMargot · 18/11/2018 23:49

I totally totally feel for you @Mseddy . Two of my friends fell pregnant at the same time as me in the summer (May). Unfortunately, my pregnancy ended up in a mc and every single time I see their growing bumps I am floored. I am happy for them when I do not see them but I cannot help but feeling totally depressed about it. In the last 3 months about every single female in a reproductive age I see often has fallen pregnant (including my friend’s dog 😂).

Do not worry. I know it is so so hard. Our time will come. Sending you lots of love! ❤️❤️❤️

Mseddy · 18/11/2018 23:53

Thanks @mrsmargot. Cherry on my cake, I've just come on. Actually cried my eyes out even more than I already have been! Bloody AF!

Sorry about your mc. Your right our time will come!!

Boo2you · 19/11/2018 06:00

Sorry you're having a tough time of it @Mseddy it is so tough when it seems like everyone else is pregnant - my SIL got pregnant same time as me and was actually due the day after me ( my wedding anniversary was her due date) but at 12 weeks I had to have a TFMR while she went on to have a healthy baby - I love my niece it is just hard seeing someone else's bump grow when you've lost your baby! Hope next month is your month

ronniemipperton · 19/11/2018 07:20

Same for me, bfn at 10dpo on frer, so pretty sure I’m out. Meh.

Mseddy · 19/11/2018 08:26

Thanks @boo2you, sorry to hear about your loss. I feel slightly better about it all today. Me and my DH have decided that the trying natural approach at the same time as carrying the burdon of likely infertility is too much for me so we have decided to go for private fertility testing, just so I know which camp we are in!!

ReginaPhalange89 · 19/11/2018 10:54

Sorry to those who've had their BFN
Fingers crossed for you all that it doesn't take too long 💕

Boo2you · 19/11/2018 12:53

Thanks @Mseddy glad you're feeling better about things! I'm having tests done at the GPs to check I'm actually ovulating as although I have regular periods ( tho a 35 day cycle) I have PCOS and due to a complication with the TFMR I had an operation which can ( in very rare cases) affect fertility! I've had one blood test done got to have another when AF arrives which I hope doesn't happen!! Let us know how you get on!! Xx

DeadDoorpost · 19/11/2018 13:56

Still no AF here (also can't find my last post ahaaa) so going to do another test today as I'm still getting a line on my opk. Still have dull cramps but don't feel like I'm due on anymore so no idea what my body is playing at

EsaBel · 19/11/2018 20:47

Tested yesterday morning and again last night and BFN Sad so discouraging...still cramping here and there and had a headache almost all day yesterday, which is the first sign AF will arrive at the end of the week Sad...hope you all get your BFP.

ronniemipperton · 19/11/2018 21:45

Sorry to hear that @EsaBel, it’s so disheartening isn’t it. I’m trying to distract myself with Christmas shopping.

@DeadDoorpost did you test? Fx for you!

GimbleInTheWabe · 19/11/2018 22:12

Hello again. I hope it's okay that I joined this thread.

I wondered if any of you knew; on average, how long after (potential!) conception would implantation happen, and therefore potential spotting? I'm only 3DPO and 2 days since DTD so I don't expect it to be yet of course but I just wondered.

Sorry for those that got BFNs. Did you do your test @DeadDoorpost?

ronniemipperton · 19/11/2018 22:20

I think it’s usually between 7 and 12dpo. 8/9 dpo seem pretty common on here.

DeadDoorpost · 19/11/2018 22:43

I did, and it's a BFN but then also too early for the last dtd so I can test again on Friday I think?
I have no idea what's going on. If all else fails I might go to the gp and explain everything because it's just frustrating.

sammi0805 · 20/11/2018 09:14

So I took an IC this morning which was a BFN but I've woke up feeling awful. Dull ache and stretching pain in my tummy, I feel sick, I'm exhausted, my head feels so heavy. AF is due Saturday- am I just ill? Is my body playing tricks on me?

Fae28 · 20/11/2018 10:15

Can i join ladies. 2ww now. First time using preseed and the clear blue ovulation tests instead of the ones from bnm haha. I think ive done it this month! But waiting on blood results for primary infertility

Boo2you · 20/11/2018 11:20

@sammi0805 if I were you I'd maybe see how you are the rest of the week if there's no change I'd do another test on Friday they are more accurate the closer you are to AF due date!

TerriB84 · 20/11/2018 12:07

I couldn’t hold out any longer and tested this morning at 10dpd and got my BFP! I’m cautiously happy as I was in this position last month and that ended in early MC. Fingers crossed for the rest of you still waiting. x

EsaBel · 20/11/2018 16:19

11dpo and still nothing...I think it is safe to say I'm out. I'll come back after AF and start over again. Congrats to everyone who have gotten and will get their BFPs this month!

Boo2you · 20/11/2018 17:44

Congratulations @TerriB84 hope it sticks around this time! Xx

DeadDoorpost · 20/11/2018 19:45

Congrats Terri!
