So we found out yesterday morning that I'm pregnant, I've been logging my periods on a tracker as mine were never regular and was trying to resolve it with the doctor however when trying to figure out dates my last period I logged was in September and I don't remember having a period in October! Would I go by that I am pretty much 8 weeks gone or like 4 weeks? I guess only real way to know is when the scan happens? I did a digital test which says pregnant and then a normal test but the positive lines are always faint!

I'm the same as you. My lmp was 19sept and just found out we're preg Friday there. Would make me technically 7 weeks but so not sure 🤷🏻‍♀️
Doesn't seem to be much on internet to guide an expectation of what a doctor might say.
Do you have an appt for scan yet?

The Dr will go by the date of your last period. It’s better to be too early than too late for your 12 weeks scan as the nuchal fold measurement needs to happen between 11 and 13 weeks (I think!). If you go and it turns out you are only 8 weeks rather than 12 you will be called back for a repeat at the right time.

Did the digi you used say how many weeks? The clear blue ones give you the weeks since implantation, so you need to add 2 weeks to get the “official” weeks...

Congratulations !
Your due date is calculated using the first day of your last period . If you Google due date calculater you can put in the last period and it will give you a due date ! Either way I'd get on contact with your gp/midwife to be booked in
