please please help..

This month i was 5 days late for my period. I woke up, went to the toilet and wiped. There was a small amount of blood in one wipe. I put a tampon in and went to work. Through the day i changed it however was shocked at how light i was as this never happens. There was literally nothing!! The next morning i changed my night tampon and it was clear..

I took a pregnancy test 30/10 and got BFN.. I tested again on 1/11 and negative again..

My periods are usually super heavy and last for 7 days so a tiny bleed 5 days late is really odd. My breasts have also swollen and are very sensitive. It’s now been 17 days since my missed period. What should i do?

I read that if carrying twins it can screw with the pregnancy tests.. Both mine and my partners family have 2 sets of twins in. How common is this?

I would go to the doctor. It sounds odd and if you're regular hopefully they'll be able to help.

On the twins thing, my understanding is that it makes hormones and so test results stronger.

It may have been an anovulatory cycle. There's rarely a reason for one strange period. I'd go to the gp if it happens again next cycle.

thanks for your help girls. I think i’ll get another test tonight and try again tomorrow. what tests are recommended as it’s obviously not early signs!
