So I'm due on my period tomorrow but I've had 4 BFP's in the past 3 days. I've had mild cramps(constant stabbing pain left abdom area for 2 days, I'm SO SO HUNGRY ALL THE TIME. Is cramps normal ? It's almost like period cramps?

Cramps were one of my first symptoms. They went on for several weeks too. Xx

@Yakadee thanks for quick reply! Makes me feel slightly better! That's why I prefer this site over google etc as you can get direct answers!! Is hunger common in early pregnancy? I literally conceived 10 days ago!! Like when I say hunger...I am absolutely starving constantly!! Xxxx

Agree with yakadee, I had cramps and back ache after BFPs, it very much felt like AF was on its way, remember your uterus is adapting to having a developing baby burying in and beginning to grow, perfectly normal, xx

How early did you have the cramps? Like I said I'm only due period tomorrow! Im worrying myself so much.
I have a separate thread- we and partner have conceived for 4 years, he's in military and left for deployment last week, the day after I got my BFP!!!! So I'm awfully worried that my period will come :( xxx

I was so convinced I was having period pain and that I would come on soon, that I didn't test until I was nearly a week late. Got the bfp and still had cramps for a few days after. Then nausea kicked in at about six weeks so I totally lost my appetite, so can't really speak to the hunger thing, but if you are hungry, eat while you can!

tastylancs · 05/11/2018 22:46

Not sure about the cramps but starving hunger was my first pg symptom, even before I tested. Just couldn't wait to cram a steaming hot pasty in my chops! Fingers crossed for you.

I recall your post, oh bless you, do try not to panic I know it's impossible. With my first I had cramping before BFP so didn't test until missed period, I cramped well into four months! With my second I had cramps and bleeding so thought it was AF bled for three days then it stopped, BFP! again cramping was constant. Xx

Oh and appetite I was ravenous in the early days, lost my appetite at about, 12 weeks x

sazzle3 · 05/11/2018 22:49

@Shazzy2013x it could be the egg planting xx

Yakadee · 06/11/2018 06:49

It was from several days before af due - maybe around 7dpo? I second the backache xx

TokenGinger · 06/11/2018 08:20

I actually put off doing a test because I said to DP I have period cramps, it's a waste of money. The cramps continued until about week 5-6 for me.

The hunger is still up and down for me. Last night I had two burgers and a big bowl of coco pops and I was still shaking with hunger. I'm 8+6 weeks.

MonkeyToucher · 06/11/2018 12:51

I also had quite strong cramps from before af was due - I don’t really get them with af so was a definite sign for me. They continued all through the first trimester c

MrsC87 · 06/11/2018 12:53

I'm due AF sat and have been cramping since yesterday and have really milky CM. Cramping normally happens day of or before AF is due and I've never had milky CM. Hoping these are good signs!! x

Shazzy2013x · 06/11/2018 23:59

Fingers crossed!!!!
