I was in theatre today to have eggs extracted and frozen which I've done several times before. Usually the embryologist comes and tells you how many eggs they managed to freeze within 20 minutes of you waking up. Today they kept coming in and saying she'd just be in shortly but after 40 minutes or so they said just to go home) and they'd call me later. I've been home for around 4 hours now (I think) and I haven't heard anything at all. Does anyone know what might be going on? I'm beginning to stress that something's gone badly wrong...
