Temperature chsrtimg for dummies - thermometer recommendations

I'm considering using a thermometer to.
chart my temperature although have no experience in this.
Any recommendations for thermometer to buy?
Where do you take your temperature from?
Do you have to test everyday and at the same time?

Every day at the same time upon waking and without moving first. Orally, unless you sleep with your mouth open, in which case vaginal.

It can be any thermometer that goes to two decimal places.

Just go on amazon and search for basal thermometer cheap as chips, and exactly what @physicskate said, Im a mouth breather so found vaginal temps better, good luck
