10DPO and Negative Test

So as the title says!

My question is - has anyone taken a FRER test at 10DPO, got a negative result, then ended up with a positive result later?

I’m tested this morning and was negative, starting to get really down!

I hear so much success with these tests giving positives early on so just want to know if I’m out or not?!

Don't test early. It won't change the inevitable result and will save you loads of money.

I have only tested once and I had to test today as husband is working away from tomorrow so I thought I’d check and hopefully share good news with him! Obviously not.

@Marshmallow1992 what test did you use? I used a sainsburys today stupidly and got this...

@saze4 I used a FRER test and just keep seeing positive results from like 8dpo! Just want to have that wee bit of hope 😭. I’ve read those Sainsbury’s tests can give false positives. Absolutely shocking they shouldn’t be allowed to sell them!

I think 8 days it still abit early whens af due? It's so gutting! The line is so blue as well and i'm 3 days late

It wasn’t 8, it was 10! You should try a test again in the morning, fingers crossed for you xx

It does depend on when you implant and if you ovulated when you think you did. I was 12dpo before I got a FAINT line on an early response (DH didn't even trust it was really positive) and then confirmed with a digital about 5 days later. Some women don't get a positive until after a missed period even. So there is definitely still hope as 10dpo is early.

Yes, with my daughter I had a negative on first response at 10 dpo (even when I squinted and held it up to the light- not even a shadow of a line), and then a faint positive at 13dpo.
