how do i come off the cerezette pill to try for a baby?

Hi wonder if you can help, i have been on the mini pill (a pill where u take everyday and dont have any breaks/periods cerezette for about 3 years now, and want to come off to try for a baby, i am young 21 will that help to concieve quicker? or will i need to have so many periods before anything will happen? i stopped the pill 2 days ago, so im hopeing it wont take too long, if you can help on these questions or offer any advice, i would appriaciate it,

Just stop taking it, and make a note of the first day of each period you have. i think its more a luck game, but yes, being young is on your side. some people say wait 3 months - this is just to help dating of the pg, and if you are really keen, it will not do any harm to start trying now.

if it doesnt happen this time, when u have a period how many days after are ur eggs released, iv forgot everything, since i havnt had periods for years, im not looking foward to having these again!! lol

You will have your first period (it may take a good while for the first one to start - so be prepared for a wait!)

Count 14 days from the first day of your period, and thats usually the time a woman ovulates, just have sex everyday. them test for pregnancy 14 days after that.

a womans normal cycle is 28 days. your period is cd1 (Cycle Day 1) and you ovulate on CD14.(14 days from the start of your period)

however, this is a textbook cycle and many women are different to this.

to notice when you are fertile:

you may get ewcm - a stretchy clear mucus from your cervix. this is fertile mucus that helps sperm to travel through the cervix.it can be checked by having a look when you wipe, or you can go 'digging' for it!

you could use ov sticks: try accessdiagnostics.com for ovulation tests. they work like pg tests, but tell when you will ovulate.

try and have sex at least every other day

just a word of advice, sometimes it takes ages before you get your first period after cerazette.

I'm on da 42 since m last period, stopped cerazette 3 weeks ago and still nothing (and no, no bab either, I've done 4 tests, last one this morning).
It doesn't happen to everyone, but I did a bit of research and found that a lot of women had the same problem with this pill.

Just something to keep in mind!!
(so you don't worry unnecessarily)
