Could this be a false positive?

Last month around the 7th I suffered a chemical pregnancy, we decided to continue ttc immediately. It’s been on my mind constantly and today I’m not sure what possessed me as it’s only the 2nd i took a test, however I took it this afternoon with the absolutely tiniest amount of pee the line went across quite slowly so I’m wondering could this create a false positive result.
I don’t know when i ovulated or when my period is due but I’m so stressed out now about this!
The result line appeared fairly quickly but I feel like it’s so early and so little urine that how can it be positive, and such a clear positive?
Anyone been in this situation?

Are you sure you actually had a chemical last month? Have you tested negative since it happened?

Thanks for all the fast reply’s I’m so worried that I somehow messed the test up!
I definitely had a chemical my lines got lighter and eventually negative unfortunately so I’m really trying to not get my hopes up too much, just going out of my mind!!

Did you have a bleed after your chemical?

Either way, it's a very good sign that you had a negative in between tests... I can't see any other reason for it being positive now than you being pregnant (I could be wrong but I really hope not)

I had a 5 day bleed just like a period and the first day I passed some small clots but otherwise it was like normal.
I’ve just taken another test (I know, mental).
Within 2 minutes I got another line, I’m so hoping for a positive. I’m going to test in the morning and make a dr appt next week if I’m still getting positives.
I have two digitals and first response tests in the cupboard but I will wait a few days for them.

That's definitely a positive. My last pregnancy started off with a test like that at either 9 or 10dpo.

At 13dpo I got a darker line on a frer, try one of those.

@Lostnames sorry to be nosey, but what were your bleeds like? I've had a brown bleed for about 3 days but it's not like my usual period and it was about 4 days late given the date I last came on.
