AF at work - sad

Currently 10dpo, BFN this morning.
AF due Monday when I have a long day at work - don't want to be upset when it comes so thought I could know beforehand by doing early sensitive test.
Surely at 10dpo (confirmed on OPK) if it's negative, that's it? See a lot of "squinters" on here but mine was just obviously negative. Going to test again Sunday to be sure but don't want the disappointment of more negative tests.
Looking to hear from your experiences of early testing!

(Off pill since Jan, TTC#2)

I got negative tests even when I was 6 weeks pregnant - one even done by my GP - so I wouldn't write this month off completely yet. Sometimes even the sensitive ones don't pick the pregnancy hormone up straight away, and you're not even late for your period yet. It's horrible waiting though, so I understand why you want to test early. Fingers crossed for you!

I know someone who got negatives, even at the GP, Until 12 weeks!
