I think it’s too soon to be a line (8dpo - I know, I know!) and I don’t think there is any pink but I wanted to consult my fellow mumsnetters... I should also add this was well after the time . Think I know what you’re going to say but clutching at straws and all that...

Yes there is a very faint line, test again tomorrow with FMU

That is a line! And evap is less of an issue in pink ink. CONGRATULATIONS! X

Really???!!! I can’t quite believe it! I don’t want to get my hopes up as it was well beyond the time limit for reading it and my FRER this morning with FMU was negative but oh my gosh I am hoping that it will progress to positive... thank you for your replies. Tentative excitement!!!!

It's not valid if it's not within the time frame? That's what it usually says on the package :/

You wouldn't expect a positive at 8dpo on one of these though. Try a FRER? Good luck!

This is what I was thinking - it was well beyond the time limit so invalid. I was just kind of wishing I think. I will try another FRER tomorrow. Here’s hoping...!

I think people are being beyond ridiculous screaming out congratulations on this.

Try a FRER OP, hopefully that will be a little clearer. Best of luck with the result.

Agree with @TheDayMyButtWentPsycho. Esp when OP's said the line didn't come up within the time indicated on the packet, and this means it's not valid.

BFN this morning at 9dpo with FRER. Trying not to be despondent as there is still time. Hard though eh. Thank you all for your replies

I can see something in the first but not the second. BUT! You are 9dpo! Plenty of time yet. If you can, wait a few days to do another FRER, will keep FX for you!

I would say wait until your late.

But if you're anything like em you'll test every day 🤦‍♀️

The brand of test you use also makes a difference. I did 4 clear blue and all negative. Used first response which was better. X

Ps also just the cheap ones are good too. I had the faintest line too and thought i was imagining it as i was so desperate for that line after having 3 mc. I really hope its positive for u xx

I don’t know if I’m imagining this as I’ve been staring at it for a few tones but I THINK I might be able to see the faintest of faint lines. It came up immediately bright white then faded to a very very faint line. Am I going crazy? I think I’m driving myself there...

I should add it was FMU and I think I’m 9/10 dpo

For reference - when I tested with FRER, it was a BFN the first time, at 8DPO. I only got my BFP at 10 DPO!

Oh my, I was expecting people to tell me I’m being a fool! I will test again with FMU tomorrow - it’s husband’s birthday so would be amazing to get a clearer positive! Eeek! Thank you for taking the time to respond
