Ovulation after the Pill

So I came off the combined pill after 7 years straight and I've had 1 natural period on C32 so far. I'm currently on C19 of my next cycle and have taken about 4 ovulation tests (as recommended by Natural Cycles) and they've all been very negative.

How long has it taken you to detect ovulation after coming off the pill?

It can take up to a year for your cycles to regulate themselves after being on the pill.

Most people find things settle down far quicker than that.

I’m in a similar position to you. Last month was my first pill free cycle and I ovulated 25 days after my withdrawal bleed.

This cycle I ovulated on CD23. My typical cycle is 34 days so this fits in with what I know already.

What were your cycles like before you went on the pill?

I'm on CD21 and still no ovulation but perhaps I'm being impatient.

My cycles were quite regular before I was on the pill, they were probably about 28 days on average. Hopefully after this cycle I'll have a better idea of how long my cycles are likely to be.

I'm in similar position. Was on inj then pill, it's proper cycle was 35 days second was 19 days. Now on cd15 of third cycle, hopefully this one has evened out back to normal!!

First not it's!! And forgot to say was on inj for a few years. Not sure if I'm ov properly yet, getting the side twinges but no other symptoms really

Interesting! Let me know if your cycle does even out next. I'm on CD21 and no ovulation detected or temperature change... Maybe I am going to have longer cycles now! I've only had slight twinges too and no other symptoms of ovulation.
