Hi all,

So been on this board for just over a year and today I got a great BFP! I thought I would share my story as it often feels like we will never get the BFPs on these threads.

DS was easily conceived 1st cycle and got a BFP at 8dpo! Pregnancy side effects hit me like a ton of bricks straight away too! So I thought TTC#2 would be a piece of piss, oh how wrong I was!

After months of BBT charting and peeing on OPKs and HPTs and getting so so stressed I chucked it all in and we took a couple months break from TTC!

Roll on a couple months TTC after the break and having a more relaxed approach we will were not getting a BFP, despite having a much easier job and more sleep now DS sleeps through.

So we turned to Conceive Plus and Seven Seas Trying for a Baby pills this cycle! We DTD every other day during fertile week and I refused to get out of bed after DTD till morning LOL!

The DPO counting began and I went back to my POAS addicted ways this cycle, convinced I would surely see something early! But nope, I did not get a line on a FRER until the day before AF was due!

So please take from this a few things:
• I recommend Conceive Plus (actually just really nice lube too)
• Consider Seven Seas pills
• You can get a BFN followed by a strong BFP the next day!
• FRERs do not always detect super early
• Just because you implanted early with DC#1 doenst mean you will with DC#2!

We have so many similarities @TwittleBee! I'm so pleased for you!
I also got pregnant with my DS on first cycle and thought number 2 would be easy but it's been exactly 1 year TTC this cycle. With my son I didn't get a BFP until day before I was due so I know it's possible to have to wait a bit to get one...I'm a few days from AF but not too sure when I ovulated as I wasn't tracking anything. I have so many symptoms though so unlike other cycles I 'feel' like I'm pregnant, really hoping this is my month too!

Congrats @TwittleBee !! So happy for you! I remember you from a previous TTC Thread and I'm so happy that you've finally got your BFP!! Me and DP are still trying (currently a day or 2 late!) and it gives me a lot of hope to see that you've got there! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xxx

Congratulations @TwittleBee wonderful news!
I'm using conceive plus at the moment too!
Can I ask, did you ever change your diet throughout your ttc journey?

Mrstobe90 · 31/10/2018 00:30

Congratulations xxx

TwittleBee · 31/10/2018 05:35

susso hi there! I remember you. Hopefully you'll soon be there too! Sounds promising with AF being late. FX

LondonKez thank you and good luck to you! FX

ffiffi8 thank you! Yeah I've joined a July thread on the antenatal board! Grin

MrsC87 thank you. Yeah changed my diet at first to really strict healthy diet and became a bit more lax as time went. But this cycle I threw everything out, apart fromlimiting my caffeine, and just ate what I wanted. Good luck!

Mrstobe90 thank you

All pregnancies are different, just like giving birth is different with each child and each child is different. So early symptoms or lack of them can be different for each pregnancy. Congratulations on your positive! Nice to read some positive stories. I’m in the 2 ww now.

Mamabear12 so true! I need to keep reminding myself each birth is different (had a traumatic birth with DS which caused PTSD) so super worried about this next one. Symptoms have well and truly hit me now, already started with the nausea and boobs effing kill! Good luck to you, lots of baby dust !
