Dtd on second static day (or day of ovulation?) tell me there is hope

We were supposed to dtd Sunday night when the clear blue opk was flashing, but I was too tired. I knew it would most likely go static Monday, which it did in the morning. But I was again too tired (dh came home 9:30pm from work). So I just fell asleep before he came. My plan was to wake so we can dtd, but I woke, we chatted and agreed we would dtd in 10-15 mins lol. But we both fell asleep. We woke 5am and dtd 😀 however, I’m wondering if it’s too late on the second static day. I’m assuming I ovulated last night. But who knows. I’m a little confused on the static smile on how long you get before you ovulate and how long egg lasts.

Anyone got lucky dtd on second static day or ovulation day?

I did! Only managed to dtd on the second day and we got pregnant this month. Only 5 weeks still but hopefully you will too.

Clear blue ovulation catches your surge so it's worth doing the baby dance just in case.

Okay thanks all 😀 we managed to Dtd 5am this morning so crossing fingers it’s the right time. I always thought it’s best to do before the static to allow sperm to wait for the egg. But looking online it seems some sperm can swim pretty fast. I’m hoping they make it there in time to meet the egg 😀
