Period after coil removal

Hi ladies,

Just after some advice if anyone has been through something similar.

So I had my coil removed in September after having it for 5 years & I started my period the same day.
I bled for around 7/8 days. Now I've been using the flo app, as myself & my husband are ttc.
Now according to the app I was due to ovulate the week after, but 5 days after my period stopped I started to bleed again, for around 6 days. I put the first couple of days down to ovulation bleeding, as I didn't have any period pains.
But I since havent had a period & the app is now saying I'm 7 days late. I have taken pregnancy tests but they've all come back negative.

Could I have had 2 periods in one month?

The app is guessing. You're just coming off hormonal birth control. Your body is withdrawing from the hormones. Many women have irregular cycles (which means less predictable ovulation) for up to a year after they stop hormonal birth control.

The apps predictions might be better once you become more regular.

Could the bleed right after you got the coil out have been caused by its removal? So not really a period?

I had my coil out in July and it took until September before I had a proper period. My cycles were regular and I was ovulating that whole time though (BBT charting to confirm).
