Frer indents and bfps?

So.... Some advice needed. Last week I done a frer. Straight away... An indent... And I could tell it was an indent. I could see the dip in the strip at the edges of it and it was a dark one. If I hadn't done about a million tests in my time I could of mistaken it for something else. But just to be sure I took it out... I held the strip up to the window and it was a very obvious dark grey line. However... This morning I done a frer. Straight away the faintest of faintest lines, straight away. to me, it looks like it has colour but I don't know I can't even get a picture of it. After about an hour of freaking out I decided to see if it was the same as last week indent. I took it out... I held it up to the window and.... Nothing. Couldn't see a grey line, couldn't see anything. But looking at it normally there's something. Does this mean its not an indent like last week's? Could it actually be a very early bfp? Any advice or experience or help would be much appreciated ladies

And just for more info.... This was a pack of 3 frers. Last 2 mornings the tests have been completely negative... Nothing at all, and this last one from the same pack has this..... I don't know if that means anything or if it was wrong wouldn't all 3 be.... But yeh.... Confused

Hi @Donnawoo09 My advice is if there is any pink colour to it then it could be a very faint +! FRERs are notorious for indents, I avoided using them for that reason. Lasts month I got an indent and the the day after with FMU I got the faintest of lines. Like a squinter holding it up to the light in all angles kind of line! But it was a line, unfortunately the lines stayed very faint for a couple of days and it ended as a chemical pregnancy. Do you have any symptoms?

I'm sorry, I had a chemical last month too 3 very faint positives then af came. Heartbreaking. I have had a headache every day for about a week and a half and a weird feeling at the bottom of my stomach and back... Like I've been doing 100 sit ups. I don't know if it's because af is on her way because I'm very irregular.... And we've been taking clomid but having a month break this month. But because of the headaches I thought I'd give testing a shot and now I wish I didn't lol

@Donnawoo09 chemicals are horrible to say the least. I’m sorry you had one too 😔 they do say those months you ‘relax’ and take a step back are the months most conceive! Headaches are a good sign I had a slight one this morning. Where is the feeling in your stomach?

It was awful. We've been trying for years and we finally thought this was it. I sat on the toilet and cried the morning af came, as soon as I wiped and seen that blood that was it, never felt so disappointed in my life. I'm really hoping that never happens again Right at the bottom of my stomach, sort of uterus area? The muscles are a bit achey when I get up or sit down... Anything where I'm slightly tensing my stomach up I can feel it. Very strange

@Donnawoo09 that’s what mine felt like a few days ago. If I turned or moved too quickly I felt like I had pulled my muscle. So that’s a positive sign! Do you use OPKs? I was told me and my husband should try iron and zinc capsules which we started taking last month. We thought we would struggle as hubby has had some ‘issues’ the past couple of years so we didn’t expect much. I feel your pain im so sorry you went through that. I really hope this is your month

Thank you so much wish it was as easy as when I got pregnant with my son. 10 years ago now, felt ill... Took a digital.... 1-2 weeks. But when we started trying again nothing happened for 3 years so we decided to try clomid. I knew I ovulated lastonth because my gyno phoned to say my levels were over 100 which was great. So much hope and after the chemical I was just drained and needed a break. I never expected to be feeling any symptoms while taking a break. It could all just be the clomid leaving my system... Or the pcos. But I just don't know. I just can't wait for the day I can surprise hubby, he's gonna be so happy. I envy women who can get pregnant so easy. And I really feel for all the women who can't. It's an awful feeling seeing a bfn over and over again for years. I hope we get our bfps soon

It certainly is disappointing to say the least. If it helps my best freind recently got her BFF 2 months ago, tv for 2 years, she was told she has PCOS around 6 months ago and she had endometriosis so they really struggled too. Then the month they decided to ‘stop trying’ and relaxed she got pregnant! It’s easier said than done though!

My spelling was shocking on my last post. I mean she got her BFP! And they were trying to conceive for 2 years 😂

I've heard that alot. Stop worrying, stop thinking about it, stop stressing.... And like you say... When it's something you desperately want...its hard not to constantly think about it. All I can do is wait for the tests I ordered to come and test again. Then I'll know. Praying its the answer I want. What an amazing Christmas present for hubby that would be. And our families.

I have no idea, I wasn't testing or anything because this was our month off and I wasn't expecting anything. What are the odds of getting pregnant on a break from clomid anyway, very slim I'd imagine. It almost feels like af is coming.... But not half as bad as I usually feel. I've read alot about frers and how they can have convincing lines even straight away.....i bet its just that.

I think I've worked out when I may have ovulated. My period started on the 8th. 17th and 18th I had an increase in discharge, tmi but feeling wet down there for those two days and enough to leak onto my pants and it was quite watery but a creamy white colour. Could that have been ovulation? It only lasted those 2 days then nothing since but headaches and sore muscles in lower abdomen and lower back, and some. Bad trapped wind the past couple of days. So the test I done I would of been 8-9dpo. Any thoughts?

Oh and the tests I ordered still aren't here which is why I haven't tested again yet. Also terrified of the answer and I've spent so much lately on tests I'm refusing to go buy some. Hopefully tests will be here today or tomorrow but I'm so scared they're gonna be negative.

Well it sounds promising, but one thing I do know is CM cannot be a symptom because it varies so much it just isn’t reliable. Some women have ewcm some have creamy etc. It’s different for everyone. But the back pain and abdominal soreness does sound very promising. I haven’t tested yet either I am going to tomorrow. I seem to feel ‘normal’ throughout the day then evenings and mornings I feel them a lot!
I know what you mean about testing, it’s devastating when it’s not the answer we eantnand costs an absolute fortune hence why this month I thought I’ll try and wait but it’s so difficult!

Did you get any sort of twinges around the time you think you ovulated? I’ve never felt my body ovulate as I never looked out for it until this month. But this month I thought I did on the 19th dues to twinges then the 20th I felt unusually warm

I don't remember feeling anything really. Just the cm I thought was a bit strange especially that it lasted 2 days then went away. And on the clomid I had alot of side effects so I wouldn't have been able to pinpoint what ovulation felt like then either. Last night aswell I felt so tired and exhausted i really wanted my bed and had to actually drag myself off the couch and go. I think everything I'm feeling is turning into an omg is this a sign kind of thing lol and this was supposed to be a month to relax..... Fat chance aww I hope we both get our bfps! That would be amazing. I'll update when I've done a test and i hope you do too. Fingers and toes crossed for us!

Yes it sticks in your mind doesn’t it! The constant wondering if it’s a symptom or not! But it’s exciting too. I felt like that a couple of nights ago too. So hopefully that’s a good sign! I will definitely keep you updated with mine too! Fingers crossed for us! Xx

Tests still haven't came yet slowly losing my patience here lol. Any updates? I've still got back pain which seems to be up at the back of my ribs now too and constant. Painful! And my boobs feel a bit sore and still weird feeling in my stomach, not a crampy period pain still though. Was exhausted again last night. Hoping it's all a good sign. Hurry up tests!

Well my tests are due to arrive in the next hour or so. I would say I am going to try and hold off testing but I know that’s not going to happen! I’ll be ripping them from the delivery mans hand!
I don’t have positive vibes today. I’m feeling very much ‘not pregnant’ compared to other days. Everyone is different and can experience different symptoms I know but I just don’t feel it. I think my faint test the other evening was just a typical blue dye test falsie.

Are you going to test today if they arrive? The sore boobs and back pain are definitely good early symptoms. I can’t remember If you said how many dpo you are?

I think possibly ovulated around the 17th or 28th since I had the discharge those 2 days but really have no idea because I wasn't trying this month. So maybe 12dpo? The test I done would of been around 8dpo. You never know, just because you don't feel it today doesn't mean your not. Until af arrives there's always hope

Oh yes I remember you saying now. So my tests arrived around 20 minutes ago or so, and of course I did one, it was a stark BFN! It’s a 3 pack which I didn’t know. So I’ll do one tomorrow with fmu.

I agree nobody is out until AF arrives! I wish your tests would hurry up now!

Aww what a bummer if you ovulated on the 19th or 20th that's still quite early though, hopefully you implanted late. So hope you get a bfp, I'm so worried about testing now. So distracted the past couple of days, can't stop thinking about it.
