Myself and my partner have decided to try for baby #2, I'm 27 my partner is 31 our little boy is 7years young, iv heard all sorts of stories with women coming off the mini pill and TTC, I came off the pill myself 18th october, so far no bleed just really bad cramps, nausea and headaches. Looking for some guidance and positive stories after coming off the mini pill please girls 😁

Hello! I came off and had no withdrawal bleed, then a light period after 27 or 28 days. Then a 25 day cycle and a proper period, so hopefully things are working okay!

I’ve head horror stories and ‘I was pregnant in 2 weeks’ stories, I think there’s a wide range of normal with this. Good luck!

I was on cerelle, came off in October 16, tiny bit of withdrawal bleeding, had one period in November and conceived in December. I'd read a lot about how it can take ages to ovulate again so I was very pleasantly surprised!

whyhaveidonethis · 26/10/2018 14:54

I came off Cerazette on 28/09 no withdrawal bleed. AF arrived today.

Thankyou all for getting back to me 😁 it's so nice to hear success stories on here because you hear of so many horror stories. Well iv had no withdrawal bleed and I stopped taking the pill over a week ago now, but I did read somewhere that you only experience a withdrawal bleed if you was taking the combined pill rather than the mini pill? Don't know how true this is 🙈

That was my experience, no withdrawal bleed from Cerazette.

kaytee87 · 26/10/2018 16:51

Oh I just made a thread on the same subject. Stopped cerelle this week in the hopes of conceiving number 2 in Dec/January time.
Want to avoid awful morning sickness during the Christmas holidays.
Have ordered ovulation sticks too!

Can I join in please

TTC #1
Age 31
Cycle...sort of 1

I've taken folic acid and vitamin d supplements since Feb so more than ready with that side of things. I stopped taking Cerazette on 27th Sept with a "see how it goes" attitude, although I'm desperate to start POAS already lol

No withdrawal bleed and no idea if I've ovulated so expecting AF anyday really if a typical cycle is anything to go by. I used to be regular but being on some form of pill for years I'm sure will play havoc. I've heard a mix of stories though, conceptions after one cycle to much longer so I think it very much depends on the person.

Baby dust to us all! xx

I was taking Micronor. Came off it on 1st of the month, waited for a withdrawal bleed and nothing happened. Curiosity got the better of me and I got a positive pregnancy test on the 30th!

nikkinoo · 26/10/2018 19:18

Congratulations jumperooo that's amazing, happened so so quickly, bet you wasn't expecting that? ... Looks like we're all in the same boat as eachother girls, litrally yesterday had really bad cramps, backache, headache and felt like I was burning up then today nothing apart from a bad back, The symptoms of coming off this mini pill are a nightmare 🙈 just waiting patiently for AF To make an appearance 😁 baby dust to you all ladies x

I came off the mini pill mid August and had a bleed about two weeks later. I got pregnant on the following month. Sadly ended in mc but reassuring to know things go back to normal pretty quick x

Hi all, I was on cerelle for 15 years. I took my last one on Halloween 2016, had a withdrawal bleed that November then used OPKs for the next month. We concieved on new years day. DS was born October 2017 so I am currently putting my one year old to bed. Totally doable with no issues and it doesnt necessarily mean a long wait either for a BFP although I thank God every day for how lucky we were.

Goodluck all Smile

@mrsof20118 Am very sorry to hear that Flowers

sammi0805 · 26/10/2018 22:39

I came off my pill the beginning of this month, was the combi pill though. I had a withdrawl bleed and am tracking everything on the Ovio App. I'm so desperate to POAS already!

whyhaveidonethis · 27/10/2018 08:20

I was POAS for three days... Took the stick into the bathroom yesterday and AF had arrived without me even noticing! Certainly know she's here now though
