FSH levels low?

Any FSH experts? I had some hormone checks done privately and feedback was that my FSH levels were low - bloods were taken on CD9. Now that I got feedback and reading online, I gather test should have taken CD3 (and I probably have them re-done) . Mine was FSH 3.48 (LH 6.36 and 2 others taken). And oh yeah, I'm 39. Should I be worried...

I think your FSH is supposed to be higher than your LH, but at day 9, you could be having an LH rise pre ovulation. You really need to get them done again at the right time before drawing any conclusions. Good luck.

Unfortunately, it's a meaningless result. By the by, low fsh is a GREAT thing when taken on the right day - it indicates ovarian reserve and low = good. High = less good/ potentially your body finds it more difficult to ovulate/ perhaps closer to menopause. However, it tells you nothing about egg quality, which is really what matters... as it can't really be overcome...

Thanks, I guess no options than have it re-done.... x
