Okay so long story short, I’m current on day 9 of AF. My Flo app tells me that my ovulation day is the 30th as the 17th was day 1 of AF. Is this correct even if my period ended tomorrow as it’s only light today. I always have slightly longer periods every now and again so this is normal for me, but as we’re only recently TTC I’m struggling with all the dates so am hoping someone more informed can help. TIA x

Apps aren't plugged into your body - it's a guess. No one can tell you if it's correct or not.

You need to track your bbt (google it) if you want to confirm you've ovulated. Using opks will give you a bit of a head's up that you might ov soon. Get to know your body. Apps are great for keeping your data - but ultimately they're just making predictions, a bit like a crystal ball.

Sorry maybe my wording wasn’t right, I’m not asking for someone to tell me when I ovulate. I’m asking if even though I have a longer period, would my (albeit rough) ovulation day stay the same as it goes on the first day of my AF. I will be using OPKS, and will look into bbt thank you for the advice, and thank you for replying. X

The length of your period tends to have little effect on when you will ovulate...

Thank you 😊
