Hiya, I've not really posted before but I read lots.

My son is 3.5yrs and has recently been diagnosed with Aspergers. After chatting with my DH we have decided to casually try for a wee brother or sister for him.

I just wanted to ask if there are any other mums of a similar age with a similar age gap and what your experience is?

I have 2 boys. 5yrs and 5 months. I was 42 when I had my second and my eldest had just turned 5. Best thing ever. Completely different experience second time and glad I did it. Good luck

I'm 40 and TTC #4. So worried I'm too old. Came off the pill 25 days ago. Still no period. BFN tests

Thanks ladies, nice to know I'm not alone. It's a bit daunting over 40!

Sometimes I think I'm crazy. My eldest is an adult!! What am I doing trying again now?! Lol

Im 41 at 32 weeks pregnant with DC2. DC 1 is almost 8. it took us about 8 months from end of contraception to viable pregnancy (had a BFP at 5 months but it didn't stick).
Get used to the medical profession referring to your age constantly and you'll be fine :)

Just wanted to bump this for older ladies who are thinking of trying. It doesn't always take long, I got pregnant the first time we tried!
