In SMEP what is a hand job helper?

Almost pissing myself laughing that I spent my 20s terrified I'd fall pregnant and yet here I am in my 30s asking a conception board what a hand job helper mentioned in a famous fuck-to-fall-pregnant book is.

Does anyone know? I don't want to Google. Is it a sex toy?

I'd imagine your partner gets himself to a certain point with his hand (or you do it for him) then finishes off inside you quickly. Not sure why it's relevant to SMEP specifically - maybe if you're struggling with the large amount of DTD?
